Requirements for dangerous goods declaration vary depending on the chosen service.

StarTrack services require full dangerous goods details to be provided in each applicable shipment. These details are provided in the 'dangerous_goods' block under the shipment.
Field by field specifications are available on the Create Shipment page, under the dangerous_goods block, and sample shipment payloads are given below.
Each applicable item of the shipment must be indicated as containing dangerous goods using the 'contains_dangerous_goods' flag.
This flag must be provided irrespective of whether it will go by air.

Each applicable item of the shipment must be indicated as containing dangerous goods using the 'contains_dangerous_goods' flag. In addition, the 'transportable_by_air' flag is required indicating that the dangerous goods can be transported by the Express Post air network.
A declaration of the contents of the item is also required using the 'dangerous_goods_declaration' field. The following list contains the valid codes for Express Post:
